A backyard, with responsible supervision
A fenced yard provides outdoor space at the cabin. Supervise your pets, bring the supplies they need and follow your hosts' instructions for keeping shared spaces comfortable. A fence is not a guarantee that every pet can be left outside unattended.
Plan pet outings thoughtfully
Check pet rules at each lake access point, trail or attraction you plan to visit. Bring water and suitable gear, and adjust outdoor plans to the season and the needs of your pets.
